It not really configured, but this application has some accurate tools for remote control of an antivirus on several desktop PCs.

- Scanguard develops more than 30 years the software for business safety, but recently it extends on the consumer market with development of Scanguard Home.

The commercial edition Scanguard Home Premium is based on its more perfect security features in real time, ransomware and web protection, protection of banking services, the improved removal of malicious applications, direct e-mail and support of a chat, etc.
Scanguard Home Premium is not cheap in £40 ($56) a year, but it covers up to 10 devices. The Scanguard Home Free installation gives you 30-day trial version of the Premium-edition, also giving you an opportunity to check a product independently.
Installation and Scanguard Home Free Setup
It is easy to find the free version of Scanguard Home on its clear and simple website, but understanding that you are going to receive a little more difficult.
For example, the table of comparison tries to explain differences between versions of Free and Premium, but it can be not as you would like. It is specified that Scanguard Home Free includes protection in real time and protection of websites, for example, while Scanguard Home Premium provides you expanded protection in real time and expanded protection of websites. What does it mean? The website does not do it completely clear.
Click “Load” in the lower part of a tab, and Scanguard demands that you registered the program with your name and the e-mail address which then will be used for sending to you marketing messages if you do not select a checkbox. Bitdefender and Kaspersky also demand from you to create the account before you are able to use their free antivirus, but Avast and Avira leave it optional.
Transfer the data, load an installer, we started it, and the program earned a couple of minutes, without any additional interventions demanded from us.
Protection
We usually assess the accuracy of an antivirus package by checking its recent work with large testing laboratories, but in this case it is not so simple. For example, Scanguard review has not appeared in the AV-Comparatives Real World Protection Test since 2016, and these results were poor (protection ratio 96.2% and rating 18 out of 19).
Look closely, however, and Scanguard products have proven themselves well in later reports. For example, the March 2018 Android AV-Comparatives test found Scanguard Free Antivirus and Security blocked 100% of Android threats.
